Architect: Tobin Smith

A complete interior and exterior remodel of this 1952 home resulted in a truly magnificent living space. Our transformation of the structure included removing whole rooms, floating a new roof, and emplacing floor-to-ceiling windows for its outward-facing areas. On the outside, our work recalls the original construction by including exposed concrete footings, timber columns, and wood joists—but also updates the look with an intriguing selection of textures, including stucco, stained wood, and metal. On the inside, custom features abound, from the game room, art/music studio, and wine room to the more functional living quarters, kitchen, and elevator.
